Discover Wisconsin

Perhaps best known for being home to UW Stout, the city of Menomonie is the perfect destination for outdoor enthusiasts, theater lovers, foodies and beer connoisseurs alike. No matter what time of the year you visit, Menomonie has plenty to keep you busy! Here are 10 of our favorite things to do in Menomonie:
Have dinner and an Old Fashioned on the waterfront patio of Jake’s Supper Club

Check out the Lake Menomin WaterX event, hosted every year in June by the Menomonie Lions Club. It’s loud, it’s fun, it’s SNOWMOBILES on WATER!
Spend a summer night watching the races at Red Cedar Speedway.

Play disc golf on one of Menomonie’s beautiful courses. We highly recommend Wakanda Park and Lamb’s Creek!
Shop the many stores and boutiques in downtown Menomonie.
Enjoy Menomonie’s craft beer scene with a stop at one of their breweries: Lucette Brewing Company, Zymurgy Brewing Company and brewery nønic.

See a show at the historic Mabel Tainter Theater.

Shoot five stand clay targets at Whispering Emerald Ridge Game Farm. Pro tip: it’s a great winter activity thanks to heated stands!

Take a trip to Govin’s Farm to enjoy their seasonal activities and attractions. Our favorite time to go is spring when you can see (and hold!) all kinds of baby animals.

Play golf at one of the three courses in the Menomonie area: Tanglewood Greens, Menomonie Golf & Country Club, and Pinewood Golf Club.
