The leaves have begun to change from bright green to shimmering gold and magnetic red all throughout Wisconsin. While there are many places throughout the state to take in these breathtaking fall views, there’s nothing quite as magical as a trip to Lake Geneva. From enjoying fall colors along the shoreline, to getting lost in a corn maze, Lake Geneva truly has it all! Join us as we go through our 4 reasons we love Lake Geneva during the Fall!

Pearce’s Farm Stand

Fall weather obviously calls for corn mazes and pumpkin picking! Thankfully, at Pearce’s Farm Stand you can really do it all! Join the fun this year and head to the farm stand first to grab some fresh local produce. Then, while visiting make sure to get lost in the 12-acre corn maze all day long.
After an eventful day of finding your favorite local produce and getting lost, be sure to grab a pumpkin to bring home for carving before Halloween. You can take a hayride out to the pumpkin patch and pick your favorite one to take along with you. Fun events coming up this fall at Pearce’s Farm Stand are the Customer Appreciation Day, Harvest Music Festival, and Pumpkin Fest. Plan your fun and take a look at their events here

If you’re a big fan of exploring fall colors along scenic roads, Lake Geneva is a great place to wander the backroads! You can see the gorgeous, vibrant fall leaves from the comfort of your own car on Rustic Road 11. This scenic highway winds through views of the glacial Kettle Moraine topography, farm land, and lakes. This hidden gem route is 10.3 miles and adjoins Rustic Roads 12 and 36 (if you’re wanting to see more)!
One shorter drive you don’t want to miss out in the fall season is Rustic Road 29. This route may only be about 2.7 miles in length but offers amazing views that you will definitely want to check out. Meander through the gorgeous lakefront homes and along the natural wildlife beauty to really experience what Lake Geneva fall is like!

Grab your hiking shoes and prepare for scenic views of the changing leaves, historic estates, and stunning homes along The Geneva Lake Shore Path. This 26-mile lakeside trail along the shores of Geneva Lake is a day trip in itself. There are a few public access points but the easiest place to start is at the Lake Geneva Public Library right in Downtown Lake Geneva!
Along the path you are able to take in the views of the clear blue waters, boats out sailing or roaming, and if you’re still out for a sunset…it is definitely going to really stun you (especially with the colors in full bloom)! Learn more about the Geneva Lake Shore Path and find a map here.

Let’s just say Lake Geneva truly is a ‘one-of-a-kind’ place to head for a perfect fall trip this year.
